Sharing A Vision

Ever since K, J & mySelf began conversations about BCCL, we have carried a vision of a reasonably sized "green" Community Center, with ample parking, a performance space, room to display art, space for movement, plenty of rooms for community gathering, a coffee shop, coaching, bodywork, etc, and my vision has been guided by a garden surrounding this space, one that grows food that we can cook and serve in a community kitchen.

A new paradigm for business rate of return

Today I was repairing our fence (several pickets were shattered when lightning struck a nearby cable box) when I dropped a box of nails. Instead of my typical thought ("Well, THAT was dumb--what a waste of time! Why didn't I just put it where it would have been safe??") it started a series of thoughts, specifically about success. I realized how much I've used the energies of money and time as the indicators of whether a venture is successful. Is it a good use of time? of money? Was my time or my money wasted, or did it pay off?

Welcome to The New Wholeness Paradigm

Welcome to my blog!

Today Iâ??ll begin by sharing the vision for The New Wholeness Paradigm.

Rebirth

For some reason, Easter has been a difficult holiday for me and Kath. One of our biggest dramas happened Easter weekend many years ago; it seems like, ever since, we've noted that day with a pulling in of energy.

Change

I have a small talisman with the word "change" stamped into it to remind me that change is the only constant. And these days I'm noticing that life is changing quickly. I can't tell if it's my being over 50 now, and so tuned into how my life is finite. But in my experience, life is speeding up. Forms come into structure, then shift, evolve, break down. Some days I lull myself into the illusion that it's the "same old, same old"--then BAM! I wake up to the hammer of change. Kali creates and destroys. And begins again.

Manifesto: Boulder Center for Conscious Living

MANIFESTO
Boulder Center for Conscious Living

This is a time of upheaval. Institutions that we have relied upon to take care of usâ??banks, the government, industry, education, the military, health careâ??have all failed in their implied obligation to provide us with safety and security.

Let's get this party started!

I've been dragging my feet about blogging, knowing that, once I got started, it would be time for me to fully commit, jump in, get my voice out there to be heard. So--HELLOOOO! Here we go.
